One more year, Gala has returned to present to the media all the news of its new catalog in Cevisama, (the International Salon of Ceramics and Bath that is held in Valencia until February 7). And there we have gone to meet them first hand.
The catalog for this year incorporates about thirty new collections for wall and floor tiles, not forgetting the large format pottery, which reaches strongly to the Gala collections, with proposals in 120 x 250 cm and 120 x 120 cm.
Among the novelties of this season, the materials that remind us of nature stand out, with marbles and wood as undisputed protagonists.
In total, the firm incorporates ten series that reproduce different veins and marbled characteristic of this type of rock, ranging from the most classic marbles, in the Arezzo, Catania, Marmara, Opal, Verse and Vivaldi collections, to proposals where color predominates , like Aris, Ducale, Melrouse and Omeya.
In addition, Gala Cerámica incorporates into its pavement selection five series that reproduce with great realism the naturalness of wood, both in texture and finish. Alpine, Hoop and Inwood are proposed in large format (19.5 x 120 cm), while Yuba and Amazonas are presented in classic ribbon format (19.5 x 84 cm).
Imitation Stone Collections
Naturalness as the basis of interior design is also the source of inspiration for new collections imitation stone of this ceramic firm. Colorado is a series of strong personality, with a very marked granulate and embossed texture; River is a ceramic with a lot of movement; Nordest is a blackboard in large format; and 20 MM is a floor specially designed for outdoor use.
Our favorites
Among the collections and models that we have been able to discover, there are some that have called our attention especially. Among them, stand out for example the series Audrey, with its geometric shapes and colors.
OR Jungle, with that lovely tropical print ideal to be installed in a shower or a corner of a cafeteria.
The Chalk or Matiz collection, with its geometric formats, has also been cast among our favorites from the Gala 2020 catalog.
