How to Line an Iron Chair

To line an iron chair you will need:

  • Chair;
  • Tool to remove and fix screws;
  • Fabrics of your preference and with the colors or prints also of your preference;
  • Stapler for upholstery with many staples;
  • Common brush;
  • Glue for decoupage.

Start by separating all the materials you are going to use to cover your chair. Remove the seat and backrest. Cover each part with the fabric, using the stapler to fix the fabric to the parts of the chair. Apply decoupage glue to the fabrics to waterproof the parts. To finish your piece, replace the chair parts on the metal frame. And it’s ready! If you want, also paint the metal frame of the chair with spray paint.
