The bedroom is not the room with the most prominence in Home Decor, but among its spaces we find some proposals for double rooms and also children’s bedrooms that allow us to get an idea of the decorative trends for this type of space and find inspiration if we are thinking of making changes.
In general there is a clear commitment to the return to the artisan, to the natural and ecological materials, to the colors and lighting that help our well-being and in general to make the bedrooms very cozy and harmonious.
For your space suite, U Interior Design was based, on the Well Certificate, which seeks well-being and a positive impact on the user’s health through different values such as lighting, air, mind or materials. Pilar García de Gonzalo, Laura Huerta, Evelien Korte and Silvia Guzmán opted for the slow deco through very neutral and natural colors and textures, and the use of sustainable materials that are not harmful to health and the environment.
In space we find certified woods, linen fabrics, organic cottons and also other fabrics made from recycled bottles, in addition to ecological paints and natural plants. The idea is to try to make human beings aware that we must change our way of thinking, that with natural, recycled materials and the use of plants we can live in perfect harmony without damaging the world in which we live.
The space of Mandalay Interior Design is a study created by Fran Cassinello, inspired by the fresh and natural spirit of the beach houses of the American coast. It is refreshing, cozy, elegant, nothing ostentatious and with a natural touch and always playful. Regarding the chromatic range used, the chosen ones are two colors that combine and, at the same time, are enhanced in this type of decoration: blue and white.
It’s about highlighting around the natural worldBoth in its aesthetics and in the selection of organic materials used: wood, glass, stone, fabrics and natural bras are the protagonists of the space and contribute to creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere, which invite you to rest and relax.
They have also recycled and reused materials and decorative elements of their store, as well as pieces that had been used in other productions and have tried to reuse the existing facilities in the space, even determining their distribution, to reduce the level of debris as much as possible.
And there is also inspiration for children at Casa Decor 2021, the space for We are2studio is a Children’s room created by Eva Jurado and María Díaz Leguina, inspired by the needs of their children arising from the pandemic. They demand spaces in which study and rest, physical activity and creativity, technology and crafts are combined.
Here the idea is vindicate crafts and handmade products to move away from large-scale manufacturing and to create unique, healthy, sustainable and personalized spaces. We have incorporated elements that provide acoustic comfort and sustainable decoration. They have wanted to promote natural fabrics such as linen, cotton, wool, and mortars for vertical walls, also incorporating vegetation as a healthy element in spaces and eco-panels made with recycled materials.
It should also be noted that the vast majority of its elements are produced in Spain with sustainable materials; contributing to the maintenance and development of our industry and the environment and helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
