It is a tradition that Vista Alegre prepares spectacular and inspiring tables for Christmas from the hand of a well-known interior designer in his store on Calle Claudio Coello, 53.

To set up this year’s Christmas table, the Portuguese fine porcelain firm has counted the architect and interior decorator, Amaro Sánchez de Moya.

The set is inspired by the table of a Grand Tour traveler, enriched with different styles, from the classicism of the tableware Famille Verte from Vista Alegre that blends with bass dishes of contemporary lines to the European style that is enriched with oriental brushstrokes.

Christmas table inspiration

The interior designer has chosen this tableware for the elegance of its decorative motifs and because it is a echo of ancient porcelain from the Indies. As you can see, the collection is painted in transparent enamel inks in which green tones predominate and has a charming leaves, berries and butterflies pattern which derives directly from the old Palácio da China-Palacio de China.

Vista Alegre Dinnerware

The point of sophistication is the porcelain, which contrasts with the subtle rusticity of the Bicos glassware in two-tone and amber tones. In addition, various pieces from the Venezia collection or the neo-traditional Vega cutlery have been mixed on the table.

Different Christmas table

To give it a touch of color and integrate nature into the table, Sánchez de Moya has opted for the salt and pepper shakers of the Primavera lines of Christian Lacroix Maison and Natura. And for decoration, the interior designer has chosen accessories from the collection Famille Verte and the Royal Bird, also from the Primavera collection by Christian Lacroix Maison.

Vista Alegre Glassware

And to get the winter touch, Sánchez de Moya has used the glass of the Miracle chandeliers, in addition to Palazzo bonbonniere, the Zahara mini vases and Elysium candle holders… With its cold reflection it alludes to the ice, snow and lights so characteristic of these festivities.

Different Christmas table

A spectacular and groundbreaking table away from Christmas topics. Do you dare to surprise your guests with such a table?
