Many of you already know her, Faina is a ukrainian design collection Live, inspired by cultural roots, established in 2014 in Kiev. FAINA’s history began in 2014 with the idea of Ukrainian architect and designer Victoria Yakusha to make national identity understandable and recognizable worldwide.
The collection is based on his study of domestic traditions, materials and craft techniques carefully transformed into objects of contemporary minimalist design and the novelties for this winter are presented in a truly spectacular way.
Clay, felt, willow, flax and solid wood are the main elements of the collection, which helps the author to express the concept of “live design” and simultaneously involve all the human senses.
It is about reflecting the entire life force of energy that has been encapsulated in the land of Ukraine for centuries, as Victoria Yakusha herself explains. FAINA currently has more than 60 articles in 5 categories: line of clay capsules, upholstered furniture, lighting, organic line and decoration.
Since its inception, the collection has been featured in the most important design spaces in Paris, London or Milan. In 2019, the brand was also represented in the Stockholm Design Week trend zone under the supervision of the Sahara Widoff and in the leading location of the “Fenix Palace” event along with the major brands from Sweden, Norway and Japan .
Some of its furniture, with a very personal design, is not aimed at the general public due to its originality, only lovers of its style, but without a doubt the presentation they make this winter of several of his pieces, as you can see in the photos, will not leave anyone indifferent.
