And the best example is the space that María Santos has designed for Strohm Teka in the Plaza de Canalejas. In this space, baptized as the Comfort Zone, an incredible bathroom has been recreated that tastes of the Mediterranean, and that transmits calm and comfort in equal measure.
Precisely, when you enter space, the first thing that surprises you is that the feeling of peace and harmony that transmits you, with that successful combination of materials, volumes and colors.
In the space, divided into two rooms, Strohm Teka and María Santos have completely respected the original elements of the building, respecting the moldings, the carpentry, or the shields of the stained glass windows.
A wood-clad screen, the protagonist
In the first of the rooms, without a doubt the great protagonist is a spectacular curved screen lined in wooda, which marks the distribution of the space, at the same time that it gives it movement thanks to the organic forms.
And behind the screen, we find the shower area, lined in a spectacular granite in a green tone that imitates marble, and with the Ítaca thermostatic shower in bronze. This so relaxing and sophisticated environment manages to transfer the visitor to the Mediterranean origin of the brand.
In the area next to the window, and in line with betting on reuse and sustainability, An old piece of furniture inherited as a bathroom cabinet has been reinterpreted. On this piece of furniture, two round countertop basins in solid mineral from the Soller collection of this bathroom firm have been installed.
In this set, we were also very struck by the built-in bronze-colored Sense taps, one of the trends in this 2021. And on the furniture, two suspended mirrors of the brand have been installed.
Bathtubs are trending again
In the second room of the space, raised with a step that helps to make the change of flooring, a freestanding bathtub in mineral solid from the Sense collection, with Alaior taps in bronze color. To highlight the scene, the bathtub is framed by an aged mirror and linen curtains.
