The bathrooms in suites or open or semi-open to the room can be a dream for many or the worst nightmare for others, as understood and lived the concept of privacy and comfort in the bathroom.
This weekend I spent a night in a small hotel where the sink and bathtub were part of the room, because the bathtub was only separated from the room by a glass. At least, the toilet was conveniently separated in an adjoining room. And I say at least, because in the last farmhouse we shared with a group of friends one of its many rooms had a fully integrated bathroom in the room, including the toilet. As a couple failed, this was the room that was vacated.
Visiting houses I have also found bathtubs with jacuzzi in rooms that, although they respond to a very respectable way of life, do not help to sell or buy a house.
Something like this.
By open bathrooms we refer exclusively to bathrooms open to the bedroom and its different formulas to design this.
Sometimes Only the sink is part of the bedroom. Other times, it is the sink and shower that are integrated into the room. It may also be that the bathroom is separate but is totally or partially visible with a large window or glass door and, on other occasions, what opens to the bathroom is the dressing room; serving the latter of natural separation with the bedroom (my favorite option).
EXAMPLES OF BATHROOMS OPEN TO THE BEDROOM THERE ARE MANY
- A bathtub that is partially visible behind a wall
- The bathroom separated by a glass wall with black quadrants.
- The glass door If this option is chosen, try to see that the bathtub or the sink is visible. Never the toilet.
- The sink is located next to the closet and introduces you discreetly into the bathroom.
- Again, a glass door to access the bathroom.
- The shower and sink are visible in this design of glass doors and walls.
ADVANTAGES OF OPEN BATHROOMS IN SUITE
– That there is no separation between the closet and the shower area and the sink can be very comfortable. Showering, dressing and grooming, all in the same room.
– You gain light and square meters by removing a wall or replacing it with a lighter enclosure such as glass.
DISADVANTAGES OF THE SUITE BATHROOM
– To live as a couple the coordination or compatibility of schedules becomes more necessary than ever. If one is shaving or showering at 6:00 a.m. and the other party does not get up for two hours, it can be annoying.
– The degree of openness to stay determines the degree of privacy of the use of the bathroom. In general, that a glass acts as a separator is colder and less collected than the traditional wall. But for tastes.
What do you think? Suitable for homes or only for hotels?
