The best thing about Casa Decor is that we can draw inspiration to reform our homes. It is evident that in our homes we do not have the breadth to project everything we have seen touring the different spaces of this great interior design exhibition, but we can get fantastic ideas to implement in our homes.
Today, we focus our deco objective on one of the most spectacular bathrooms that we have seen in this edition of Casa Decor 2021: the one designed by the studio Devesa & Agenjo interior design for the French bathroom firm Jacob Delafon.
A spectacular space full of ideas for transform our bathrooms into authentic temples of well-being in which to pamper ourselves and disconnect from the reality that surrounds us.
The first stay: calm, relax and a very natural environment
Jacob Delafon’s space is divided into two rooms, each one more beautiful, although in completely different styles. In the first one, circular in shape, a absolutely relaxing atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the weather and the Cléo bathtub, located in the center of the room.
To achieve that atmosphere that exudes serenity and relaxation, the studio has opted for a warm and elegant color palette, in which sand tones stand out, mixing textures and elements, such as the matching golden taps from the Cléo 1889 collection, which provides a luminous and luxurious touch.
After the bath, and separated by a screen from the Nouvelle Vague collection in black and gold from the Parisian firm, we find the imposing shower made of quartzite, framed by the windows of the building and which contrasts with the marquetry work on the floor.
This area is complemented by the Singulier extra-flat shower tray in a slate finish. It also highlights the so trendy oak palillería furniture with vegetation, to give a natural and sustainable air to the space.
The second room: modern and groundbreaking
In the second of the rooms in Jacob Delafon’s space, the style of the previous area is completely broken. It is the most practical area of the bathroom, and to design it, it has been played with neutral tones, scattered in a palette of earth, noble materials such as marble or wood, in combination with gold accents to give a luxurious look to the space. In addition, textiles such as linen in beige tones bring freshness to the set.
As soon as we enter, we find the washbasins with console, golden taps and mirrors, on a elegant wall with herringbone cut-away in a small ceramic format. On the left, and separated by a glass and fiber lattice to provide some privacy, there is a suspended toilet.
In space, it also highlights the always fascinating creations of Sergio Prieto, by Dovain Studio, like the spectacular ceiling lamp, a table lamp, or an armchair.
A warm, cozy and elegant space that represents the new luxury based on noble materials, vegetation and the selection of design pieces.
