The recently renovated Sevillian boutique hotel Casa de Indias includes Laufen toilets in its new designer bathrooms. The interior designers Las 2 Mercedes, in charge of the decoration of the hotel and by the architects of the OA110 studio, responsible for the rehabilitation of this historic building in the historic center of the Seville capital, have chosen the bathtubs, toilets and bidets from the renowned Swiss firm to finish the sixty-one baths of this design boutique hotel.
Its recent rehabilitation and decoration has been carried out respecting the essence, the charm and Andalusian character of the building.
The Laufen furniture completes some bathrooms in which the original construction details and in which it has been sought to preserve the stately character of buildings of this type. The furniture chosen by the interior designers achieves a balance between design and comfort.
He Laufen Pro series wall hung toilet and bidet, they have a minimalist design that seek not to steal the attention of the room while offering maximum quality and functionality. Conversely, the freestanding bathtub is part of the Val collection, designed by the German designer Konstantin Grcice, light and elegant thanks to its oval shape and extremely thin border, stands out as a gem to enjoy moments of relaxation and disconnection by the window.
Faced with a wall of marble finish and poor geometric design, tradition and modern design go hand in hand in the bathroom so as not to clash with the decoration of the rest of the hotel, where the old elements such as beams and carpentry have been respected but have undergone a great transformation painting blue as has been done throughout the hotel.
In the rest of the bathroom, the geometric wall design that frames the tub continues to the custom stone sink. with oval mirror and side sconces resulting in a bathroom with a classic effect, in keeping with the old farm in which it is located.
The elegant and discreet wall-hung sink and toilet have been placed facing each other and a built-in shower that puts the end point to some bathrooms in which nothing is missing; no design, no tradition, no comfort.
