Surely you have known numerous bathrooms with an aesthetic similar to the one it sported Before this bathroom.
In blue and white, with embossed tiles framing the mirror and generating not one, but two decorative borders, -which long ago ceased to be a trend and now only served to reveal the passage of time-, this bathroom included the model of the most placed washbasin from the 90s which contributed to its design being so familiar to us.
The owners of this bathroom commissioned the reform of your bathroom the expert in transforming spaces without major works, Ana Lorenzana from @decoryver, who did magic again with this job to get a new bathroom (brand new) very contemporary design.
The keys to reform
The four-piece bathroom has been kept, without dispensing with the bidet As it’s usual. In fact, the toilet and bidet are the same as before the renovation, but the “top sales sink of the 90s” has been replaced by a straight washbasin with a natural wood finish with countertop sink. Also, where the bathtub was before now looks a nice shower that looks bigger thanks to the continuous bathroom floor, since the color of the shower tray is the same as the finish of the new floor.
New walls and floors
The new coverings have been installed without removing the old ones, which shortens the construction times, leads to a tighter budget and achieves a reform without rubble at home.
The walls have been painted in white except for the one in the shower, for which gray has been used, (the same as the one at the bottom of the shower and the mirror frame). The radiator has also been painted gray and all the paint is special for tiles or doors by @creadecorarecicla. On the ground, a vinyl that simulates a large format dark gray porcelain tiles, complete the transformation of the bathroom.
Black profile taps and shower enclosure in the bathroom
Choice gray transform the bathroom in an elegant space and the new black taps, in the shower, in the sink and even in the bidet contribute to the contemporary look of the new bathroom.
Special mention also deserves the partition with black profiles in quadrants that gives an industrial look to the whole bathroom.
Styling tip: the gray of the bathroom gets along very well, with the set of yellow towels chosen for the bathroom and manages to combine the colors of 2021 in the new bathroom, according to Pantone.
Pictures and shelves in the bathroom
And since details do matter on the walls, there are paintings (the bathroom is a good place to include art) that frame photographs of the owner.
Small wooden shelves complete the wall of the toilet that now deserves more attention than before and they put, next to the sink, the warm note of the wood.
The back of the bathroom door has also been painted white so that the new aesthetic of the bathroom in white, gray, black and natural wood details would not be affected by the previous one.
