Here it is the best proposals of the Salone del Mobile 2017 for the office. The area of the Salone del Mobile 2017, dedicated to the world of work, was a resounding success. Also thanks to the installation “A Joyful Sense At Work“, Conceived by the architect Cristiana Cutrona, on the occasion of the biennial Workplace 3.0, which investigates the relationship between happiness and quality of life at work. All that remains is to discover the most beautiful proposals of the Salone del Mobile 2017, dedicated to the office world.
On an area of 1,600 square meters, “A Joyful Sense at Work”Stages, with irony and a pinch of provocation, a new way of conceiving the world of the office, dividing the space dedicated to work into three key areas. The first area is the one dedicated to the Concentration, a private space intended for individual work; the second area is that of Sharing, a transitory public space dedicated to collaboration, socialization and sharing; finally the area of Creativity, an innovative space dedicated to invention and imagination; all these areas converge in a central square, an intermediate area between public and private, a place of opportunity and exchange.
A Workplace 3.0 in Milan, in addition to the installation A Joyful Sense At Work, 4 international architectural firms were called to design “an installation within an installation”. We are talking about Studio O + A by Primo Orpilla and Verda (United States), Ahmadi Studio by Arash Ahmadi (Iran), UNStudio by Ben van Berkel and SCAPE UNStudio (Netherlands) e Studio 5 + 1AA by Alfonso Femia and Gianluca Peluffo (Italy).
The exhibition “The Water Cooler”Has well summarized the concept imagined by Primo Orpilla and Verda Alexander of Studio O + A: the element of water has been used metaphorically to outline the working environment of the future.
On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2017, Ahmadi Studio imagine an adaptive work environment, in continuous evolution, in which personal and social spheres converge, to respond to the opposing human needs. Dynamism, sharing, belonging and confidence, these are the keywords for furnishing a modern office in the future, where everyone can feel at ease. For this purpose, Arash Ahmadi is inspired by two iconic spaces of Iranian culture: the Persian garden, an intimate and private place, and the bazaar, a place of exchange and comparison.
Ben van Berkel of UNStudio is Jeff Povlo of SCAPE studio they reflect on the condition of work stress to which contemporary man is subjected, through the exhibition space RESET – Responsive Emotional Transformation, while Chronotopic System is the space proposed by Studio 5 + 1AA of Alfonso Femia and Gianluca Peluffo, an environment that changes in relation to space and time.
In short, the future, in the office world, are multifunctional environments, capable of adapting. Simple, versatile, flexible furnishings, to be used by people in different ways, according to their needs. The essential and archetypal forms, simple and modular, able to offer innumerable possibilities of aggregation and reconfigurability, are the favorite, for offices and work spaces in constant change.
