Yamazaki is a Japanese design studio with a long history behind it.
It all started more than 100 years ago with a company that produced ironing boards; over time, however, the company has evolved and today we are faced with a very creative studio that designs hundreds of pieces of furniture every year.
What distinguishes Yamazaki’s productions is the company mission which is very clear: to create objects for everyday use inspired by how you live in the big cities of Japan.
The houses of the big Japanese cities are almost always very small and with very little space, this requires a wise study of the furnishings and a carefully thought-out choice of every piece of furniture, accessory or piece of furniture.

This is why in the lines proposed by Yamazaki there are no sumptuous objects, large or without real usefulness. When space needs to be optimized, design must be minimal, compact and functional the use that must be made of the object.
