The new has a purely vintage touch but modern Sackville Restaurant, local located in the heart of London and made by B3 Designers. The reference is strong to the 60s, the furnishings definitely refer to that period and even the colors, so dark but elegant, can only drag us back in time. All, of course, revisited according to the canons of contemporary design today. The complements that inhabit the spaces of the Sackville restaurant in London they are aesthetically very refined, but among these there are also some recovered pieces, such as the four seats positioned along the bar counter, which create a perfect corner to chat.
The first thing that arises from looking at the Sackville restaurant is what this was in the past. Well, it was a fashion laboratory, a real temple inhabited by expert tailors. The design of the London design venue, which is located in the heart of Mayfair, is inspired by the art of these artisans. Everything is sophisticated, elegant and refined, a discreet but palpable luxury. It has two internal floors and each of these has a strong and distinct personality.
When you enter the restaurant you can admire some hanging meat, as if you were in the back room of a butcher’s shop, clearly revisited in an industrial-chic version. That’s the same one that the chefs use to prepare the succulent dishes that fill the menu card: don’t miss the gourmet burger.
On the ground floor the existing masonry has been maintained, indeed this is highlighted thanks to a play of white neon lights and the mirrors positioned along all the walls. The oak parquet floor plays a fundamental role, capable of giving a vintage atmosphere but also a sense of unique warmth. There are many brass accessories, which give a touch of refined luxury, while the marble countertops offer a sense of industrial elegance.
The basement is completely different, placed in stark contrast to the upper one. This in the past has been the workplace of many tailors, the point of the Sackville definitely more operational. Knurled wood, buffered glass, blackened steel frames have always been present in the new design room. Here, enveloping shades such as moss green have been used, the frames are in dark walnut and the walls are covered with rust paper sheets.
If you drop by the Sackville Restaurant in London know that, in addition to burgers, you can also enjoy meat dishes, steaks and refined appetizers, all seasoned with truffle flakes, drinks of all kinds and champagne and fine wines from all over the world.
