The Spiral Hotel in Lahigian in Iran
Paolo Albano is the architect chosen by Farid Ghasemil, a famous Iranian designer to give life to The Spiral, a new 5 star hotel which will rise in Lahigian, a tourist city on the Caspian Sea in northern Iran.
The charm of Persian design will merge with the Italian one to compete with the most beautiful design accommodations, waiting to be able to attract tourists from all over the world. Iran’s goal is in fact to become a highly attractive country in terms of tourism, and for this reason many investors are focusing on the future of the hotel tourism sector in the coming years.
The project sees a 140-meter high tower building overlooking the sea with an area of 60,000 square meters where 260 rooms, 8 restaurants, 4 bars, 2 cinemas, 1 multi-storey gym, 1 large and fascinating swimming pool and 1 heliport will be located.
The aerodynamic structure will consist of 3 staggered cylinders that will give it the movement of a spiral – hence the name – born from a skilful project that has seen the integration of excellent architecture and skilful engineering.
Palakat in Lubumbashi in Congo
Paolo Albano he also puts his signature on the Lubumbashi sports hall in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Dedicated to basketball, handball and volleyball, Palakat was strongly desired by basketball talent Bismack Biyombo, now in the NBA in the Orlando Magic team. In fact, the Congolese player wants his country to devote more importance to sport, giving young people the opportunity to devote themselves to it on a professional level.
The prefabricated structure equipped with photovoltaic panels to be autonomous from an energy point of view, can accommodate up to 2000 people and will complete the offer of sports spaces in the city thanks to the construction of the new football stadium.

The Italian architect and designer Paolo Albano participates with his architectural firms in the design of the ground floor of the Best Western Plus in Wembley belonging to the Eurohotelgroup company.
The design will include the hall and reception areas, but also areas such as catering, giving life to bars, restaurants and pizzerias with a completely Made in Italy flavor.
