Since the 1950s the Ciatti family deals with the company that bears his name and today is an important international brand. The brand has developed furniture, seating, mirrors and accessories that are appreciated all over the world, including Ptolomeo, which quickly became the best-seller of the company, for which the designer Bruno Rainaldi won the Golden compass. Ptolomeo is a self-standing vertical bookcase, available in two sizes, made of metal and characterized by small shelves. This is only one of the complements that are part of the Opinion Ciatti catalog, but there are many other very cool ones.
In the collection of the brand there is the armchair with a modern design, although it was conceived on the classic capitonné models, Guelph, made of black leather and with a nickel structure, to which it is possible to coordinate its pouf. If you prefer chairs with a simpler and cleaner style, there is for you Mamma Mia, presented in numerous versions. There is the one in leather, chocolate or charcoal; a model in faux fur, available in black or white; another in the shape of a swivel stool with matt finishes; the last one, on the other hand, has a die-cast aluminum body, painted indoors and outdoors, with 24k gold galvanic legs. The latter, also in black or white, is part of an important special edition, which was presented at the Imm Cologne 2016.
On this same occasion, other design complements were exhibited, such as the Top3, the famous Opinion Ciatti rope, which is nothing more than a coat hanger designed by Lapo Ciatti. It is a sand-colored woven nautical rope wall or ceiling element, equipped with metal hooks, six in all, which, of course, must be fixed, even if it seems to ‘dangle’ blissfully within the four domestic walls. Not to be missed either B.tri, another armchair but unstructured, because it is made up of three cylinders of different heights, connected by a black base. Finally, among the latest proposals there is Lalampada, a table complement with metal structure and aluminum diffuser, with internal covering of the hat in gold leaf.
