The famous brand of Diptyque scented candles goes back to basics and comes up with a collection of furnishing fabrics, which rides the first creations of the three founders. Initially, in fact, the creators of the brand proposed in the Boulevard Saint Germain boutique collections of textiles created by themselves. In the archives Diptyque, therefore, there are some small graphic treasures, which have now been recovered and constitute the Collection 34, made up of three unpublished objects in printed linen: a pillow, a case and a bag. The prints have been recreated byillustrator Charlotte Gastaut, which has revisited the graphics of the past in a contemporary key.
The collection of accessories for the Diptyque home it includes, therefore, some splendid ones pillows characterized by the drawings made Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant. A kaleidoscope of intense and bright colors and bold and intense graphic shapes have been revisited according to the dictates of our time and converted on linen. The fabric was later used to line the brand’s ideas. In Collection 24 first of all we find the splendid furnishing cushions, characterized by prints exceptional: one in shades of blue, reminiscent of the galaxy and all its planets, another in shades of orange red, with small semicircles contained in rectangles, and the last with a black background and details in emerald green and teal. These same textures were also used to make shopper bags, also ideal for shopping, and for cases, to keep at home or to always carry with you.
Diptyque, the 2016 scented candles
In Diptyque collection there is no shortage of new scented designer candles, such as La Madeleine, with porcelain container, la Reflet, with a mirrored base that seems to increase the brightness of the flame, the Cristaux, for a kaleidoscopic effect, and the splendid Carrousel, which on the classic glass that contains the candle boasts a golden metal superstructure, which depicts a carousel that rotates.
Furthermore, among the novelties of the Diptyque 2016 collection there is also Essences Insensées, a centifolia rose-based perfume, created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, and Kimonanthe, another elegant and refined fragrance.
