From 28 September to 27 November 2011 Lisbon will host EXD 2011, the biennial of design, architecture and creativity born in 1999 and now in its sixth edition. It is an unmissable event that sees as protagonists a series of events organized in different locations in the center of the Portuguese capital united by the Useless theme interpreted and addressed from different points of view, from the economic to the social and cultural one.
From 28 September to 27 November 2011, design lands in Lisbon with the sixth edition of EXD, the biennial of design, architecture and creativity. This is a great event that aims to promote innovation and the culture of design as a driving force for sustainable development.
The past edition, which also saw the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the exhibition, was a great success with the participation of 150,000 visitors, with a total of 29 events for a total duration of 61 days!
For the first time this year, the main events of the biennial will take place in the heart of Lisbon and will all be easily reached on foot in a few minutes. Also this year, as in the past, one of the aims of this exhibition will also be to rediscover the historic center of the Portuguese capital, reopening a series of urban spaces that are usually not very frequented and creating new and fascinating urban routes.
