Luigi Colani was born in the German capital in 1928, and after studying sculpture and fine arts at the Berlin Academy of Arts, and aerodynamics and ultralight design at the Polytechnic School of Paris. By combining his knowledge of aerodynamics and ergonomics with his love for organic and biomorphic designHe was able to develop his own distinctive style that made him famous worldwide.
