Between decorations that most recall the Christmas spirit surely there are little angels, who watch over the hut of the baby Jesus, in the nativity scene at home or angels to hang on the Christmas tree, at the doors or even as a Christmas decoration for tables, windows and for the home in general.
How to make nice Christmas decorations: fabric angels
The Christmas angels I’m very simple to make at home, and it will certainly be a pleasant chore for young and old.
Christmas angels: necessary material
But let’s see immediately what there is it is necessary and how to do:
- decorative ribbon (width 7 cm) for the body;
- decorative ribbon (width 5 cm) for the wings;
- wooden balls (diameter 4 cm);
- retina sponge;
- thin ribbon for the hook;
- black marker;
- meter;
- gun with hot glue;
- scissors;
- latex gloves.

Procedure for making do-it-yourself angels
We assume that it is much easier to watch the video tutorial at the end of the procedure, to better understand the individual steps.
However, below has been reported the procedure in full with all the steps and before starting, wear the gloves:
- Take the decorative ribbon of 7 cm wide and cut it to a length of 30 cm. Apply hot glue on the ends.
- Take the same ribbon and cut 20 cm, with which we will make the collar of the angel. Given the stiff edge, it is possible to obtain a curl, making a zigzag movement.
- Glue the collar on the first ribbon, and then glue its two end.
- Choose the best side of the balls, and after applying the glue on the collar edge, hold it firm, applying pressure (for a better seal)
- The time has come to make the wings, take the decorative tape of 5 cm in width, of a different color from the rest of the body, and we cut 40 cm of it.
- Fold the ribbon in half (as shown in the video) and glue. Eventually a kind of will form staple, which will in turn be glued behind the angel’s collar.
- Cut a 20 cm golden thread, tie a knot at its two ends. Introduce it inside the wooden ball and fix it with the hot glue.
- Cut a piece of the net and lay it on the angel’s head, passing the hook through the center.
- Secure i hair with glue.
- Draw the angel’s face with a felt tip pen black.
