Today we show you the Before and After another bath transformed by Ana Lorenzana from @decoryver. Now that we are obliged to be at home, the need to take care of the design of all your rooms is emphasized more than ever, and especially bathroom.
Ana Lorenzana She is an expert in transforming spaces without large or annoying works, although this time a certain work has been required of the replace the bathtub with the shower.
Beyond this change, Ana bets again by laminate flooring and tile painting as keys to reduce costs, execution time and the inconvenience caused by the tiling debris.
It also maintains the same distribution of the facilities although it has eliminated the bidet so that the bathroom gains in meters and is more comfortable. The new transparent screen that takes the place of the old shower curtain also contributes to this relief.
The bathroom before
The previous state of the bathroom did not invite you to relax or enjoy it. The elongated bathroom had the same ocher tiles and in poor condition for the floor and walls. The bottom sink was a non-functional, nondescript pedestal. Poor lighting and a purple ceiling contributed to making the tube feel of this bathroom smaller and more powerful.
The bathroom after
According to Ana herself, for the transformation of this bathroom, she followed the criteria and the tastes of its owner who opted for pink to create a personal and bright space, perfect for relaxing.
A slate gray tone worktop was chosen for the new shower, matching the laminate flooring pattern used on the new bathroom floor.
On the walls the ocher tiles have been covered with powdered white and pink paint (on the back wall) that lighten the space and soften it.
The new two-drawer vanity unit (Godmorgon model from Ikea) looks like it deserves on the back wall as well as giving extra storage capacity.
The less obvious but very effective details are another of the things that define @decoryver’s work. The use of White color in the new bathroom and shower faucets enhance the light feeling of the bathroom and provide the touch of maximum trend. Another detail worth noting is the abstract picture on the toilet (with the same tones of the new bathroom) and finally, we highlight the commitment to paint the bathroom door in the same powder pink tone as the wall.
The end result is a new bathroom in which, now, you want to enjoy in a relaxed way.
