From 24-28 February the Verona fair hosts the 10th edition of Fire Project 2016, the most important world event in the sector plant and equipment for the production of heat and energy from the combustion of wood. 750 the exhibitors, of which 300 from abroad from 36 countries who will propose the sector’s innovations on 105,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The tenth edition scheduled at Veronafiere of Fire Project 2016 will see 7 pavilions and the external areas of the Verona exhibition center occupied for five days by operators from all over the world with the full range of equipment, systems and products of the wood heating: fireplaces, stoves, cookers, thermal cookers, boilers, barbecues, products, machines and accessories for wood, pellets and everything that feeds the fire. Five days of conferences, workshops and technical meetings on the areas of use and the advantages of heating with wood-fired biofuels.
Fireplaces, wood or pellet stoves, are in fact confirmed among the heating systems cheaper and less polluting on the market, and therefore a valid alternative to oil and gas boilers. The new generation models guarantee low consumption, excellent performance in terms of thermal efficiency as well as energy savings and less air pollution. The choice of these systems also involves significant economic savings and a quickly amortizable investment: wood and pellets, in fact, are among the least expensive fuels on the market.
3,000 products on display in Fire Project 2016, and over 250 models working thanks to the specific system of
fume extraction carried out at VeronaFiere. Among the exhibitors, the stoves, fireplaces, thermo stoves and pellet boilers of Ravelli, the Cola stoves, the Clam heat, the Nordica Extraflame, the artisan company of majolica stoves Venturi Stufe, the heating solutions of MCZ, the fireplaces and the Palazzetti stoves.
And to underline the importance of the event, on February 24 the starchitect will be the special guest Philippe Starck, who will personally illustrate the products he designed, such as the “Speetbox” modular fireplace, which will be visible at the Seguin stand in Hall 7.
Also noteworthy is the exhibition of the works of the competition “The fireplace, the stove and the space around” announced under the patronage of ADI Association for Industrial Design by the Piemmeti company, and aimed at architects, designers and planners. The competition also aims to suggest a residential landscape where the functionality, technology and aesthetics of fireplaces and stoves so that they can characterize the environment and enrich domestic rituals and gestures.
