How can a classic restaurant turn into something modern? It can and is just what happened to Blanc I Negre, a culinary haven, located in the heart of Valencia, which today boasts a modern structure although strongly and clearly retains its traditional personality. To make this environment a unique and refined place was the Ramon Esteve Studio, who signed the ambitious project. The result? An unusual space where the interior design reaches the perfect balance with everything that surrounds it.
There are two rooms that characterize the new Blanc I Negre restaurant and both have very different characteristics: one has tables and chairs, where it is possible to taste the excellent dishes of Spanish cuisine, the other is the bar area, with smaller tables and high stools, for a more casual and informal style.
The great feature ofinterior design of the Blanc I Negre is the diamond-shaped geometry, taken up in particular by the Faz furniture by Vondom and by the tiles used to cover the room. Furthermore, the Faces ceramic wall tiles from the L’Antic Colonial collection, also designed by Ramon Esteve, are the ones that characterize the entire environment with greater force, an outdoor line that has also been extended to internal areas.
The floor is always in ceramic and declined in an elegant and refined beige, discreet and light, which makes the environment particularly welcoming. Golden accessories are coordinated with this, especially as regards the lighting, while the veined marble of Nero Marquina contrasts sharply with everything else.
In addition to the interior design by Blanc I Negre, the studio also took care of all the complementary parts, i.e. business cards, menus, tablecloths, the winery’s label and every other single detail. The result is truly unique, the first of its kind.
If you happen to be in the area of Ontinyent, in Valencia, take a trip to the Blanc I Negre Restaurant, you will be enchanted.
