Building a house in just six hours? Well yes, it is possible. We are talking about BUT SAY, a folding house, designed by the Italian architect Renato Vidal and made by Wood Area, which represents a real revolution in the world of construction.
Madi Home, the house that can be built in a few hours
The house conceived by Renato Vidal is nothing more than a modular structure, which it is assembled in six hours and is habitable in just two days: perfect in the city, but especially in rural areas, such as in the mountains or by the sea. To build it, traditional methods and standard materials are used: the secret is all in its folding structure, which even makes it resistant to earthquakes. Once purchased, the technicians transport the building and in a couple of days the house is habitable: inside it has already installed the bathroom, the kitchen, the air conditioning system and as an option also a photovoltaic system, therefore with zero impact.

How much does a folding house cost
Born as a solution for sports villages and resorts, MADI Home immediately showed its potential, transforming itself into a residential home, or as a temporary structure in case of disasters. The folding house costs from 33,000 euros and can be assembled by three people in about 8 hours, since it does not require foundations. It is a construction system that makes use of the deployment technique, so a concrete base is not required, but, before the house is deployed, the ground must be leveled.
