The new San Pellegrino House will be drawn by BIG: the project of the study has won the competition organized by the brand to expand and improve the factory house. The jury of experts, who evaluated the various ideas submitted by the competitors, including MVRDV, Snohetta and Michele De Lucchi, was coordinated by Professor Luca Molinari. The idea was to create a new factory, to bring back San Pellegrino Terme to the golden years of the Bella Epoque.
BIG, according to the jurors who selected this project for the new Casa San Pellegrino, presented the project that best reflects the idea of the company and that integrates with the surrounding nature, very important for that territory. The studio presented a plan to develop areas capable of offering unique experiences to employees and visitors. In this project is thearch the iconic element, a recognizable symbol that makes the factory house unique.

BIG, acronym for Bjarke Ingels Grop, is an architecture studio, founded in 2005 by Bjarke Ingels. Among his works are the VIA WEST 57 in New York, the Serpentine Gallery in London, the Swedish pavilion of EXPO 2015, and, currently, the construction of the Google Campus in New York and two of the buildings of the World Trade Center.
