Kitchens with wooden furniture, but solid wood (it does not have melamine or porcelain imitating wood) are a trend despite the fact that in principle, wood does not seem the best material to coexist with the fumes and punctual humidity of this space.
But the new treatments to which the wood is subjected, the use of tropical woods and the new ways of life – at least before the covid, meals were increasingly “easy and comfortable” – have made this trend triumph . It is also possible that it had something to do the undeniable beauty of wood.
No matter what more delicate, less easy and comfortable to clean. Wooden furniture creates natural and cozy spaces, makes us connect with nature and brings us a little closer to our desire to live less surrounded by plastics.

But the natural finish of the wood does not imply that the kitchen has to necessarily have a rustic character.
