Polished stoneware

The tiles made mirror-polished by sanding, so bright and with a very pleasant glassy appearance, can be used as floor or wall coverings in luxury homes, since it is the finest finish that exists.
Furthermore, this finish of the porcelain stoneware allows to enhance the characteristics of the material, such as the veins in the case of marble effect stoneware or wood-effect porcelain stoneware, or the color. However, this type of tile is very delicate and not too resistant to abrasion. In addition, it fears humidity, which makes it slippery.
Polished stoneware

Compared to other types of processing, polished porcelain stoneware is more slippery and less resistant to abrasion. It is therefore not recommended for covering humid environments or high traffic areas.
