How to make a DIY Christmas centerpiece? Ideas, tips, photos, video tutorials to create Christmas decorations for the home?
Christmas centerpiece prepared with fresh plants: pine, butcher’s broom and mountain plants
The Christmas is now upon us and we of Desainer not wanting to miss the appointment, we decided to offer our users nice DIY ideas for to furnish the house during Christmas holidays.
For the occasion we have created a nice tutorial, which shows, how you can create a Christmas centerpiece with a few euros, using the scented is colorful mountain plants, such as pine, butcher’s broom, rat’s tails, etc.
What does it take to make a DIY Christmas centerpiece?
- 1 round plate (of plastic)
- 1 candle (white or colored)
- fresh branches of Pine tree
- branches of butcher’s broom
- seedlings mountain (ornamental)
- glitter (star-shaped and plain)
- hot glue gun
- tape for bows (width 5 cm)
- scissors

How to prepare the Christmas centerpiece?
- Let’s decorate first of all the candle, taking a paper tray, we lay the glitter in the shape of stars. We sprinkle with glue (to our liking), the candle and roll it on glitter. The movement must be rapid because the hot glue immediately hardens. At this point, we proceed with the smallest glitter (powder), which will be slipped on the just hot glue.
- At this point we lay down the pine branches. Before gluing them, let’s test how we want to arrange them. Once decided, we fix them with hot glue, making sure to hold down on the glued part for at least 30 seconds.
- It’s time to add to the centerpiece, which takes shape, ours butcher’s broom, with its red berries. Here too, let’s test how to arrange it and then proceed to glue it.
- Now let’s continue the decoration adding the mouse tails, which look like white snowflakes, and others herbs nice mountains.
- The time has come to make ours bow tie, to place it on the centerpiece, for a touch of color and class!
- And finally we add the rain of stars, that is, our glitter powder that we will place on some holly leaves to give a refined and decorative touch.
