Le Corbusier
One of the greatest architects of all time, Le Corbusier, was a pioneer in the use of reinforced concrete for buildings, as well as one of the fathers of contemporary urban planning. Disappeared in 1965, he has worked all over the world, leaving his very personal imprint in many private and public buildings. The Chapel of Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, France, Maison Blance in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these are some of his most famous works.
Zaha Hadid
The Iraqi starchitect Zaha Hadid he is one of the most famous architects of our time. The first woman to win the Pritzker Prize in 2004, she designed the building that houses the MAXXI, a museum of contemporary art in Rome, as well as the London Aquatics Center and the library of the University of Vienna. Around 246 employed architects work in his studio, which is based in the British capital.
Oscar Niemeyer
Oscar Niemeyer was one of the best known and most important architects of the twentieth century. Collaborator of Le Corbusier, he passed away in Rio De Janeiero in 2012. Among his most famous works is Brasilia Cathedral, a reinforced concrete building with a hyperboloid structure.
Renzo Piano
Renzo Piano, an Italian architect among the ten most important personalities in the world in the Art and Entertainment category, became famous thanks to the creation of the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, a colorful building characterized by external pipes. Piano also built the Shard London Bridge and the structure of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
Antoni Gaudí
Antoni Gaudí was a Spanish architect, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism. Seven of his works located in Barcelona, among others the Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera, have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Le Corbusier had spoken of him as the shaper of pieta, brick and iron.
Ieoh Ming Pei
Ieoh Ming Pei is a Chinese architect, a great master of modernist architecture. The Louvre Pyramid, a marvelous glass construction in front of the entrance to the Parisian gallery, bears his signature. He also designed the Kennedy Library in Boston and the new Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin.

Tom Wright, British architect, is known all over the world for having participated in the design of the Burj Al Arab, better known as ‘La Vela’, one of the most luxurious hotels in Dubai. He was also responsible for the cladding of the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House, one of the most significant buildings built in the twentieth century.
Frank Gehry
Among the leading exponents of deconstructivism, Frank Gehry lives and works in the United States. The Guggenheim in Bilbao is the project that has given it international popularity thanks to its new forms and the splendor given by the titanium coating. The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and La Dancing House in Prague, among other works by Gehry.
